We are also a working farm with our own home bred chickens, ducks and turkeys and unusual breed of hardy, long eared sheep! Sit on your balcony, breath in the fresh clear air and listen to the silence - only interrupted by the sounds of the birds and animals and the distant tumbling of the waterfall across the valley as it falls from Battle mountain to the creek.

Included in your stay is the use of all our facilities including Wireless Internet, the large outdoor hot tub, the indoor Sauna and gym, the interesting library with literature about Wells Gray, BC and other places in the world and full of the relics of our days as owners of a lodge in Zambia, the sitting room with large open fire, comfy sofas and telescopes and the deck with flowers and hummingbirds. All rooms and decks offer unsurpassed wildlife viewing from the black bears that frequent the meadows to the Sandhill Cranes which have made the peaceful valley their home during the Spring and Summer months. Moose are present during the Winter and many deer graze the grounds all year round.

Horse riding, hiking, golf, canoeing, boat trips and pleasure flights are also available nearby. Wells Gray Park is famous for its beautiful Waterfalls and the majestic Helmcken Falls (10 minutes away) and stunning Clearwater and Azure lakes in the Park are a must!
