Come to The Thorndyke Bed and Breakfast if you want to enjoy truly down home comfort and hospitality. We take pride in making your stay one you will remember! Our home is a beautiful history filled landmark of Grand Bank. Many great stories abound regarding the builder, Captain John Thornhill and his contribution to The Grand Banks Fishery. We are happy to share them with our guests! The house is 3 stories with 4 gorgeous guestrooms. All have private ensuites. There is a lovely enclosed front porch to enjoy the view of the ocean while you have a coffee or read. There is a large second floor deck for the sunny days! Then there's the widows walk with a view unmatched anywhere! Our breakfasts are quite enjoyable, including some local treats and surprises! We are also happy to provide dinners for you and your guests at a very reasonable cost, with advance notice! Usually 2 or 3 days is fine, depending on the time. Your hosts are Colleen King and Glynn Comeau and we look forward to meeting You soon!
