Luxury, fully equipped 4.5 star holiday Lodge on Humber Valley Resort in the heart of Newfoundland's natural playground. Humber Valley Resort is tucked into the woods between the shores of Deer Lake and the northern most extension of the Appalachian mountain chain. Poplar Lodge backs onto the 8th green of the Doug Carrick designed golf course and offers extensive views across Deer Lake. Great care was taken during construction of the Resort to preserve as much as possible of the natural habitat and our guests are often rewarded by sightings of wildlife in and around the resort. Frequently seen are moose, foxes, squirrels, chipmunks and a wide variety of birds.
Amenities Poplar Lodge is finished to a very high standard and comes complete with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, wireless internet access, luxury pure cotton bed linen, hypoallegenic duvets and pillows, pure cotton towels and a range of in-room toiletries. Poplar Lodge has 1 king, 2 queen and 2 twin single bedrooms spread over 3 floors. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Poplar Lodge features extensive open plan living areas complete with a propane fireplace in the lounge on the main floor and 2 further lounge areas on the upper and lower floors. The lower lounge area contains a home theatre system with satellite TV and DVD player. Poplar Lodge also features a hot tub which is available as optional extras. A BBQ is also available as an optional extra.
