Canada Select Website Activity Has Significant Traffic Increase:

Canada Select’s website www.canadaselect.com was used twice more this summer season than in 2006 as evidenced by the number of unique visits to the website.

The website was re-launched in May with significant upgrades that allowed members to more fully profile their property and the area around it.
Holiday Media offered all Canada Select members an enhanced listing at no charge for the summer months and a discounted fee for an annual enhanced listing. Many properties capitalized on both opportunities and experienced positive traffic to their accommodation listing as a result of.
Below are a few sample comments:
- Todd Warren Inn by the Bay, NL; “We had lots of interest in our property through the enhanced listing. There were emails inquiries and visits every day and on one day there were as many as 60 visits”.
- John Pino, Broadwater Inn (Baddeck), stated that the marketing of Canada Select did help grow his business this season.
- Yolanda DeFillippis, Sea Parrot Oceanview Manor, NS, has expressed that her listing has had lots of visits with the new enhancements and averages 20 – 30 visits daily during the off season.
