Boatbuilder’s Cottage is an adorable timberframe reproduction of James Maxner’s 19th century boatbuilding shop. Surrounded by perennial gardens, and located right in historic Lunenburg, guests can enjoy fine restaurants, stunning architecture, and natural beauty all without touching their car keys! This seaside community is a favorite among sailors, present day boat builders, and restoration enthusiasts.
The cottage has all the modern conveniences like a four piece bath, tv, dvd, stereo, phone, wireless internet, full kitchen, microwave, BBQ and laundry facilities, all tastefully incorporated into a historically sensitive interior.
Enjoy harbor views from the loft bedroom and private balconies. Dine, shop, visit our many galleries and museums, cruise our local waters on a whale watching or bird watching tour, photograph our UNESCO heritage district or unwind at the local pub, or curl up in front of a crackling fire with a good book from the cottage library. Beautiful uncrowded sandy beaches are also just minutes away.
