Rates
(depending on the season):
from CAD 165 per night/double room incl. breakfast, CAD 125 for a single room (all prices + HST).
Rent the entire lodge exclusively for either your family holiday, an adventure with friends or to celebrate something special. Waterfall-Cottage from 180 CAD plus tax.

Location
The lodge is located directly on the Mersey River near Liverpool town, southwest of Halifax, Novia Scotia.

Accommodation
Five attractive double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. In addition, the lodge offers a sunroom and deck, a large living room with rustic fireplace, a separate house with sauna and whirlpool, an outdoor fireplace for grilling, office with internet facilities and several canoes which can be used at any time.

Waterfall cottage with terrace located directly at the river. Living/sleeping quarters, bathroom and kitchen. Available to rent, full-board or self-catering.

Dining
Enjoy elegant dining in the formal dining room overlooking the spectacular Mersey River. Meals feature maritime cuisine, including salmon, and are always served with a friendly smile. The warm hospitality of the Nova Scotian people will make a lasting impression.

Make yourself at home: take a canoe and discover the beauty of the Mersey River, one of the most picturesque rivers in Nova Scotia. Relax under the sun in the pretty garden or in the Jacuzzi, spend cosy evenings curled up in front of the fireplace, walk and hike on the trails around the lodge. A refreshing swim in the clear waters is highly recommended! A perfect retreat for fishing and hunting enthusiasts.

The lodge serves as an excellent base for daytrips and sightseeing tours:
• Wonderful Atlantic beaches are only 15 km away
• Whale watching in the famous Bay of Fundy only 70 km
• Kejimkujik National Park only 30 km
• Peggy's Cove with its historical postcard lighthouse only 80 km
• Bridgewater for shopping, 40 km
• Lunenburg - for fresh and delicious lobster - on the romantic Mahone Bay only 50 km

Best time to travel
Spring, summer and autumn are all ideal for touring, though if you wish to ski, you will naturally have to come in winter or early spring. Swimming and sunbathing is excellent in the summer months of July and August. Enjoy Indian summer from late September to mid October when you can experience an explosion of autumn colours, an abundance of wildlife, and an orchestra of sounds.

Getting there
Fly to Halifax. Mersey River Lodge is a pleasant 150 km drive south of the airport along the picturesque 'Lighthouse Route' with its ever-changing coastline and small fishing villages.
