The Beach House at Cousin’s Shore offers private and direct access to a beautiful, sandy PEI beach. This PEI cottage is situated on the North shore of Prince Edward Island with exceptional views of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Enjoy swimming, sandcastle building, walking, relaxing, and evening campfires on the beach at Cousin’s Shore, one of the nicest beaches on PEI. This PEI beach house is licensed and inspected by the Province of PEI. It’s available to rent from May to October.

We pride ourselves in having the cottage equipped so as all you have to bring is your clothes and food!

Our weekly rate in July and August is $1275 and off season rate in May/June and Sept/Oct is $975.  We do Saturday to Saturday weekly rentals with check in at 4 and check out at noon.  Pets are welcome, however there is a $75 cleaning surcharge and owners have to be responsible for their pet. There is no tax on the accommodation rates.

We require a non-refundable deposit of $350.00 (Cheque made out to Donald Maynard or if you prefer an e-tranfer to [email protected].) and mailed to:

Once the deposit has been received an e-mail confirmation of the reservation will be sent back to renter for further confirmation.
 The balance of the rent is paid on departure from the cottage.

Cottage info/expectations for renters


-The dune grass areas of the property and the shoreline cliff faces are fragile ecological areas and we require our renters and any of their guests to only use the established pathways to the beach on the property.

-Renters are responsible for any damages to the cottage or property that occur during their stay.

-The cottage recyclables/compost and waste is to be sorted and taken to the “curb” as per the PEI Island Waste Management Commission Guidelines, we will provide a review of these on check in.
