Perfect for family reunions and people who like a lot of extras, four star Dreamweavers Home Place has so much to offer - all the amenities and advantages of a Dreamweavers stay including a wonderful water view, peaceful, caring atmosphere, salt water pool, great location and fresh air! Your home away from home the Home Place offers four tastefully decorated bedrooms, living room, full kitchen, office, dining room and two full baths - one with double air massage tub.
Architecturally the Home Place is a traditional country farmhouse in the style common to PEI and has wooden shingles and lovely proportions. In keeping with the look and feel of a country home, the big kitchen with lots of cupboards and counterspace will appeal to the "wannabe" chefs and provides the perfect place to cook up a big pot of lobster. The Home Place has hardwood floors in most areas and tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. The living room looks out over the green fields, red cliffs, Rustico Bay, the lighthouse at Rustico Harbour and the ocean. It has a pretty garden door with a good sized deck just off the living room There is also a dining room and bathroom with shower on this level.
On the second level you’ll find an attractive suite with windows on three sides and probably the best view of any place on the whole property. This bedroom has a queen sized bed with pillowtop mattress and a twin size day bed. The day bed is actually an antique train station bench! It is great fun for a small child to cuddle up in. The suite has bamboo flooring, an entertainment unit with a TV and DVD player and a quaint little electric fireplace for atmosphere.
The other large bedroom has a queen bed with pillowtop mattress and a three quarter bed. This room is 12 ft. by 20 ft. The third and fourth bedrooms are both around 100 sq. ft. One has a three quarter bed (half way between a twin and a double in width) with a pillowtop mattress. The other bedroom has a double bed with pillowtop mattress. The bathroom has a double air massage tub- a real treat- and a nice tiled shower. Some of the furniture pieces are antiques and some are hardwood pieces handmade.
Dreamweavers is a quiet and peaceful property and a wonderful place for a get-a-way. There are great beaches, shops, restaurants, golf courses, fun parks, outdoor adventure and deep sea fishing all within 5 to 10 minutes of here. We are only a kilometer from North Rustico which has a grocery store, service station, pharmacy, hair dressers and liquor store. We are 5 minutes from Cavendish. There is a walking trail between North Rustico and Rustico Harbour called the Rustico Promenade that has beautiful scenery. The National Park beach is three kilometers from the cottage and there is another nice public beach 5 minutes drive east of us. We provide National Park Passes for your stay. There is always a lot to do on PEI and we are centrally located for most activities. You can travel anywhere on PEI from here in a comfortable day trip- we are very central and from tip to tip PEI is only about 4 hours driving time. Charlottetown is 20 minutes to the outskirts, 35 minutes to the Confederation Centre downtown where the Anne of Green Gables play runs.
